ABOUT US Mantaray Community Swim Club is a community based, family oriented, swim club located Trinidad WI. The club was born out of a need to help the children who cannot afford to swim with the larger clubs and are considered at high risk for a life of crime or social deviance by virtue of the communities from which they come from. Mantaray made swimming obtainable and affordable for these young swimmers who have great potential, natural abilities and the determination to win.Started in September 2009 with just five members and our membership is quickly growing to date. We have over 60 young persons involved in the program. In January 2010 we were given ordinary membership in ASATT. In 2012 become a Non Governmental Non Profit Organization. Mantaray has partnered with St. Michael’s School for Boys and St. Dominic’s Children’s Home and the Trinidad & Tobago Paralympics Committee in providing classes in learn to swim, competitive swimming and water polo. We also worked with schools in the community such as Diego Martin Central (Diego Sec),Diego Martin North,Diego Martin Girls RC, Corpus Christi Collage ,Patna Village Government, Mucurapo East and West, Tranquility Government and St James Government and the School for the Blind.Mantaray is a swim club with programs for all ages where DETERMINATION WINS !!!!
